How to Throw a Minnie Birthday Party at Home

Erica Santos

Everyone loves Minnie and so ours daughters and this theme is always a fabulous birthday party decoration. Here I want to show how I threw a Minnie birthday party in my apartment and yes you can throw a wonderful birthday party in your house and not spend too much money. I invited 10 kids so even in a small apartment there was plenty space for the party and I made my daughter's bedroom the play room.

I got the balloons from Party City and I used my white curtain as a background, the pink and white dots fabric I bought at Walmart and I made the pink flower balloons.

I made this fabulous pink table skirt and it's pretty easy. I bought the satin fabric and with an youtube tutorial video I put it together.

It isn't my expertise but I made the faux Minnie cake and believe me it wasn't that difficult. Because I don't know how to make pretty cake I prefer to make faux and serve the real cake in small container that my friends and family can bring home.

I love favor boxes so I made different styles to give the desert table a very nice looking. You can contact me if you would like any of these favors.

I love this candy, it's made of strawberry with coconut and covered with chocolate.

I used small tables for the kids to eat and I ordered pizza (they loved) and there was also juices and snacks. The Minnie and Mickey plates and cups are from Dollar Tree and I made the Minnie centerpiece.

I wanted to give to the kids a very cool favor box that they would use it later so I gave these boxes from Walmart (they didn't Mickey) and they loved.

I hope everyone enjoyed my decoration and until next party!
